Addiction Research Institute offers in‐depth technical assistance, training, curriculum development, data collection and evaluation on recovery system transformation, adult and youth peer recovery support services and recovery-oriented systems of care.

Big Texas Rally for Recovery

ARI collaborates with the Texas recovery community to coordinate the annual Big Texas Recovery Rally. The Big Texas Rally for Recovery occurs every September for National Recovery Month. Curriculum Development

ARI provides curriculum development and writing services, as well as technical assistance and training to curriculum facilitators. ARI is assisting Texas HHS, Texas Certification Board and the Texas peer recovery workforce with updates to the Texas Peer Specialist Supervisor Certification Texas Peer Specialist Core Certification Curriculum, Texas Recovery Support Peer Specialist Certification Curriculum and Texas Mental Health Peer Specialist Certification Curriculum.

Technical Assistance on Recovery Transformation and Peer Recovery Services

ARI offers technical assistance on recovery transformation, best practices in peer recovery support and integration of peer recovery services, including trainings, webinars, conference calls and learning collaborative(s) related to the integration of RSS and recovery management approaches.

Continuing Service
at Every Step

ARI conducts a needs assessment, process, and outcome evaluation for peer recovery support and substance use services.

ARI provides technical assistance on development of data collection tools, data collection processes and performance measurement development and monitoring for Texas HHS and for HHS‐funded recovery and community providers.

ARI provides technical assistance for the development and expansion of the Recovery Oriented System of Care (ROSC) sites in Texas.

Recovery Support Services Conference

The Addiction Research Institute hosts an annual recovery transformation conference in partnership with Achara Consulting, Inc. for peer support staff and supervisors in HHS‐funded Recovery Support Services and Youth Recovery Communities programs.
